Brazilian underwear giant LUPO think they’ve cracked the age-old problem of designing cool, long-lasting and comfortable fitting gents’ undies.
LUPO employ a revolutionary technique that turns beech wood chips – from managed forests – into a silky, soft and stretchy material called Modal.
Smoother and cooler than cotton, Modal is a fabric that doesn’t retain the particles of lime scale present in tap water, meaning that the pants remain smooth and soft long after cotton pants have stiffened up!
And the dreaded fade, so common in cotton pants is a thing of the past as Modal retains its original colour no matter how many times it is washed.
As well as maintaining their colour, thanks to a little Lycra the pants also retain their close, comfortable fit making them perfect for exercising in.
And that scourge of women’s knickers, the Visible Panty Line is also consigned to history – these pants have no seams so no unsightly lines or bulges in your trousers.
Despite being famous for female lingerie, Brazil can now improve the lot of the British men struggling with uncomfortable undies – all thanks to a little wood.
